Yo! My name is Melody George, director of a short film called “Marbles with Thoreau.” The film has been many years in the making; I wrote the first draft of the script in 2005, but it was over 3 years before shooting actually commenced in May of 2008. Follow that up by another year or two of post production, festivals, etc… You get the picture. It’s been quite the journey! And it’s turned out to be one of the most challenging, rewarding, profoundly spiritual experiences of my life. I’ve chronicled that whole process here in these blogs. I write from a Christian perspective, but I hope you find these posts meaningful regardless of your faith persuasion. Please feel free to share your own reactions and thoughts and experiences… I love hearing them!
